Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ClassOps websites, applications, and services.

Last updated: June 4, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ClassOps. By creating an account, accessing the website, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you use ClassOps for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. In that case, "you" includes the organization.

2. The service

ClassOps provides tools for class operations, including leads, trials, scheduling, reminders, attendance, cancellations, make-up workflows, calendar integration, meeting links, reporting, and related administration.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We will aim to avoid changes that materially reduce paid functionality without reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and users

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials secure.

You are responsible for configuring organization users, roles, access permissions, class records, communication settings, and integration permissions appropriately.

Notify us promptly at support@classops.app if you believe an account has been compromised.

4. Customer data

You retain ownership of data you submit to ClassOps, including organization records, student and parent information, teacher information, schedules, attendance, cancellations, notes, and workflow history.

You grant ClassOps permission to host, process, transmit, display, and use customer data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions for customer data added to ClassOps, including any consent needed for student, parent, guardian, lead, and teacher information.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse ClassOps, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, bypass security controls, overload systems, or use ClassOps to violate law or third-party rights.

You may not upload malicious code, send spam, harassing messages, deceptive communications, unlawful content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe use of ClassOps creates security, legal, operational, or abuse risk.

6. Communications and notifications

ClassOps may send operational emails and service notifications to account users, teachers, students, parents, guardians, and leads based on your settings and workflow actions.

You are responsible for making sure recipients expect and are permitted to receive messages sent through ClassOps. You must not use ClassOps for unsolicited marketing or spam.

7. Third-party integrations

ClassOps may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar, Google Meet, email providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and hosting providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, data handling, changes, or fees.

If you disconnect or revoke an integration, related ClassOps features may stop working or require reauthorization.

8. Fees, billing, and taxes

Fees, free limits, billing intervals, and included features are described on the pricing page or in an applicable order, invoice, or agreement.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of taxes, duties, bank charges, currency conversion fees, and payment processor fees. You are responsible for applicable taxes and charges.

If payment is overdue, we may suspend paid features or account access after reasonable notice, unless prohibited by law.

9. Trials, cancellations, and refunds

Free trials, free plans, and promotional offers may have limits or eligibility requirements. We may modify or end offers prospectively.

You may cancel according to the process available in the product or by contacting support@classops.app. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for prior charges unless required by law or stated in writing.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly and we will review it.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep ClassOps reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free service. Maintenance, outages, third-party failures, and events outside our control may affect availability.

Support may be provided through email, in-product channels, documentation, or other methods we make available.

11. Intellectual property

ClassOps and its software, designs, trademarks, logos, documentation, workflows, and other materials are owned by ClassOps or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

These terms do not grant you ownership of ClassOps intellectual property. You may use ClassOps only as permitted by these terms and the product documentation.

12. Confidentiality

Non-public product, business, technical, security, pricing, or account information shared by either party should be treated as confidential and used only for purposes related to ClassOps.

Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is public, already known without restriction, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source.

13. Disclaimers

ClassOps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassOps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassOps total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to ClassOps for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid for the service.

15. Termination

You may stop using ClassOps at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for the service or others, fail to pay fees, or use ClassOps unlawfully.

After termination, some provisions continue as needed, including payment obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-related provisions.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and may provide notice through the website, product, or email.

Your continued use of ClassOps after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
