ClassOps provides class operations software for independent educators and small class businesses. In this policy, "ClassOps," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the ClassOps service.

We collect account information such as names, email addresses, organization names, roles, login details, and communication preferences.

We collect operational information entered into ClassOps, including leads, students, parents or guardians, teachers, classes, sessions, schedules, attendance, cancellations, make-up slots, notes, and related workflow history.

We collect integration information when you connect third-party services, including Google Calendar and Google Meet metadata needed to create, update, or sync events and meeting links.

We collect billing and payment information needed to manage subscriptions, invoices, taxes, receipts, and payment status. Payment card details may be processed by our payment provider and are not stored directly by ClassOps unless explicitly stated in the product.

We collect technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, logs, cookies, and similar usage data.

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve ClassOps, including authentication, tenant isolation, scheduling, reminders, attendance, cancellations, make-up workflows, calendar sync, and support.

We use contact and workflow information to send service messages such as account notices, trial confirmations, class reminders, cancellation updates, make-up links, billing notices, and support replies.

We use technical and usage information to monitor reliability, debug issues, prevent abuse, improve product performance, understand feature usage, and protect ClassOps and its users.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product planning, and business reporting. This information does not identify a specific person.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and product improvement, comply with legal obligations, and act with consent where required.

Organizations using ClassOps are responsible for making sure they have permission to add student, parent, teacher, and lead information to the service and to send communications through ClassOps.

We share information with service providers that help us operate ClassOps, such as hosting, database, storage, email delivery, analytics, customer support, payment processing, and security providers.

We share information with connected third-party integrations only as needed to provide requested functionality, such as creating or updating Google Calendar events and Google Meet links.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, and security of ClassOps, users, or others.

We do not sell personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, authentication, session security, preferences, analytics, and product improvement.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some ClassOps features may not work correctly if required cookies are disabled.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide ClassOps, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain audit trails, and support legitimate business needs.

When an account is closed or information is deleted, we may retain limited records in backups, logs, audit history, billing records, or legal compliance systems for a reasonable period.

No internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, using strong passwords, limiting user access, and promptly notifying us about suspected unauthorized access.

ClassOps may process and store information in countries other than where you live or operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your jurisdiction.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

ClassOps is intended for use by teachers, administrators, and class businesses. Students and parents may interact with ClassOps through class-related communications and secure links.

Organizations are responsible for obtaining any required consent before adding children or student information to ClassOps or sending communications to parents, guardians, or students.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information.

To make a request, contact support@classops.app. We may need to verify your identity and, where information is controlled by an organization using ClassOps, direct your request to that organization.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice through the website, product, or email.

Your continued use of ClassOps after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the service.
